Home

Welcome to my website. This page has details of my two books, a link to all my workshops and a contact form, while the website is rebuilt. My CV is here.

My new book Drawn From the Wild was published in June 2025. It covers foraged, ancient, ecologically sound and repurposed art and drawing materials and is the follow up to my bestselling book about natural paints Found and Ground. At the link you can order the book in UK, USA / Canada and Australia and look through 20 pages from inside, including a rather lovely foreword by Stewart Lee. I launched the book online of 5th June, you can watch the recording here.

Now you can order signed, personally dedicated copies of either title for £15 per book directly from me, sent within UK. Just drop me a line via the contact form below, with your email address, how many books you want, and your address. I will reply with the total book and postage costs. Every order gets a large postcard of one of the works from the books, included for free. I pack my books in brown paper with reinforced tape at the corners to make sure they arrive safely but also weigh less and can mail by the cheapest methods.

All my courses and classes are listed here, complete with booking links.

I will renew this website with all new content including cards, a new artist’s book being printed January 2026 and how to purchase my inks, quill pens and more . Until then, Sign up for my newsletter here. It goes out apprx 10-12 times a year and has details of all my courses, classes and events. There is a paid tier which gives access to instructional videos. To see what else I am up to, the most up to date information is always found at my Instagram – @foundandground

My first book came out in 2023, in both UK and USA. Read all about it here. Found and Ground – A Practical Guide to Making Your Own Natural Paints, is published by Search Press. Details and order here.

I am a member of the Dark Mountain Project and the Wilderness Art Collective and Heritage Crafts Association.

This home page was updated 21/01/2026. Until last year events were recorded here at the blog but now I use my Substack newsletter.

Feel free to get in touch via the contact form below. Warm wishes, Caro.
